Position OverviewChoice Properties is looking for a Manager, Enterprise Data Solutions to join our team! The Manager must be a self‑starter, a strategic thinker and have a great service‑oriented attitude that will continue to encourage constant improvement of services and performance.
Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and delivery of data and reporting solutions, remaining hands‑on with data modeling, semantic layers, dashboards, and analytics to ensure accuracy, scalability, and performance.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions by partnering closely with business stakeholders, understanding decision‑making needs, and converting them into clear analytical, reporting, and data platform requirements.
- Manage data solutions as enterprise products, drive report and dashboard rationalisation, lifecycle management, certification, and usage monitoring, and embed a product‑oriented mindset and governance process that prioritises business value, adoption, and trusted decision‑making.
- Lead, support, and oversee contractors and vendor resources by setting priorities, providing technical guidance, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
- Partner with IT and Application teams to align reporting and governance initiatives with data platform strategy, cloud architecture, and enterprise standards.
- Implement and ope rationalise data governance frameworks, including metadata management, data quality rules, lineage, cataloguing, and stewardship processes using enterprise data governance tools.
- Enforce data governance, privacy, and compliance policies in collaboration with Data Governance Councils and Security teams, ensuring regulatory and organisational standards are met.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, consistency, and decision intelligence, bringing forward innovative ideas, automation, and best practices in analytics and governance.
- Present technical solutions, governance initiatives, and insights into IT and business leadership, clearly articulating value, risks, trade‑offs, and expected outcomes.
- Deliver training, promote data literacy, and be responsible for data usage across the organisation.
- Post‑secondary education with minimum 5 years’ experience in Data and Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, and at least 2+ years in managing technical roles.
- Strong hands‑on Microsoft Power BI experience designing and delivering Business Intelligence solutions, including Power BI, semantic models, dashboards, and enterprise reporting.
- Demonstrated understanding of dimensional modelling concepts, including Star Schema, facts, dimensions, and KPI design for analytics use cases.
- Proven experience implementing data governance concepts such as data quality, metadata management, lineage, and stewardship.
- Comprehensive understanding of data governance, data privacy, security, and data platform concepts with exposure to data cataloguing, data quality, or data governance tools.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake and knowledge of modern concepts such as Lakehouse architecture.
- Ability to engage senior business stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data topics to non‑technical audiences.
- A self‑starter with the ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
- Ability to lead and direct others in a team environment.
- Experience in REIT, Real Estate, or asset‑intensive industries, including familiarity with leasing, property, financial, or asset‑level reporting.
- Curiosity and interest in advanced analytics, AI‑assisted reporting, automation, or emerging BI and data governance capabilities.
- Exposure to decision intelligence, self‑service analytics governance, or analytics product management practices.

Hiring Range: $89,460.00 – $ per year
