Position: Senior Platform Reliability Engineer )

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage and deploy production Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Administer and integrate Databricks environments to support data processing and analytics workloads.
  • Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform for automated deployment and management.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git Ops practices, Jenkins, and scripting for automation.
  • Monitor and respond to production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring platform stability.
  • Collaborate with security, risk, and architecture teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and guardrails.
  • Manage and contribute to JIRA tasks and participate in agile ceremonies including daily and weekly standups.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure management and deployment.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Databricks.
  • 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).
  • 4+ years of experience with Git Ops, Jenkins, and scripting for automation.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Windows Administrator.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
  • 1+ years of network administration or networking experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
  • Experience with Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity management, and security controls.
  • Knowledge of business continuity planning and disaster recovery implementation.
  • Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies and operations.
  • Experience working on data and analytics platforms.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and knowledge‑sharing skills.

Location:

Toronto, Ontario. Working Arrangement:
Hybrid. Salary range is expected to be between $ CAD – $ CAD. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
