Senior Cryptographic Consultant

Position: CIBC Senior Cryptographic Consultant
Drive innovation at CIBC as a Senior Cryptographic Consultant by shaping cryptographic strategies critical for protecting our bank's information assets. This position focuses on enhancing security frameworks and methods.

As part of the Information Security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and resilience of CIBC’s cryptographic services. Your work will involve managing cryptographic technologies and collaborating with teams to implement effective security practices, including those related to Post-Quantum Cryptography. Strengthening client and operational data protection will be your primary focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of cryptographic service roadmaps

• Communicate complex cryptographic issues to executive management

• Help integrate security protocols into the development process

• Analyze service performance and report KPIs/KRIs

• Nurture relationships with vendors and industry peers

Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing cryptographic security solutions

• Certified professional with CISSP, CISA, or CISM designations

• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar

• Comprehensive knowledge of data protection regulations

• Familiarity with key management and HSM systems

Engage in critical security initiatives to enhance CIBC's operational integrity.
