Hybrid Business Systems​/Data Analyst

Contribute to data modernization efforts as a Business Systems/Data Analyst in Toronto, ON, through a hybrid contract. Leverage your Python and SQL expertise to enhance regulatory compliance initiatives.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst or data-centric Business Systems Analyst for a four-month hybrid position.

Your role will encompass data analysis, database development, and regulatory monitoring. Candidates with experience in supporting financial regulatory compliance and risk reporting are preferred for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analysis and transformation using Python and SQL

• Develop and validate large datasets for reporting

• Support regulatory monitoring and compliance efforts

• Migrate Excel workflows into structured databases

• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors effectively

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation

• Experience with large datasets in financial services

• Exposure to regulatory compliance and risk reporting

• Familiarity with Teradata and Excel

• Strong analytical and communication skills
