Senior Cloud Security Consultant

Join the City of Toronto as a Senior Specialist in Cloud Security Assessment. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead initiatives that protect critical data and systems.

As a full time permanent consultant, you will assist the Chief Information Security Officer in implementing security measures across various city agencies. Your primary focus includes advising on cloud architectures, performing security assessments, and establishing best practices for cloud environments. You will be at the forefront of addressing emerging cyber threats while offering mentorship to internal teams.

• Develop, implement, and enhance cloud security measures
• Perform security assessments and identify vulnerabilities
• Research and advise on AI and data governance security
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS for cloud systems
• Drive alignment between technical and business teams

• Degree in Business, Technology, or related areas
• In-depth knowledge of cloud frameworks and standards
• Strong understanding of Cloud Security tools and services
• Experience in serverless and container-hosting security
• Relevant certifications like CISSP or CCSK preferred
