Director of IT Financial Controls North America

Lead transformative IT Financial Controls initiatives as a Director in Group & North America for a respected property and casualty insurer. This senior role focuses on mentoring and compliance in a dynamic environment.

With over 12 years of experience in IT Financial Controls, you will leverage your expertise in the Insurance or Banking sectors. The successful candidate will create testing strategies, identify control gaps, and ensure adherence to industry regulations. Your ability to build interdepartmental relationships will foster a culture of accountability and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor IT Financial Controls testing professionals

• Create the annual IT testing plan

• Identify and report IT control deficiencies

• Monitor regulatory changes for compliance

• Collaborate effectively with audit and IT teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years in IT Financial Controls

• Leadership experience for at least 4 years

• Bilingual fluency in French and English advantageous

• Strong understanding of PCAOB/Sox
404 regulations

• CPA, CISA, or CIA certifications preferred
