Opendoor Identity & Endpoint Security Engineer

Opendoor seeks an Identity and Endpoint Security Engineer based in Toronto. This role enhances security systems supporting safe and efficient employee operations while solidifying company trustworthiness.

You'll develop and manage identity solutions and oversee the enterprise security program to ensure robust metrics are met. Your work will involve AI-driven automation, allowing for seamless employee onboarding and security compliance management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build identity system with access governance and lifecycle automation

• Own operating metrics for enterprise security effectiveness

• Harden and manage endpoint devices and compliance through code

• Direct endpoint detection with tools like Crowd Strike Falcon

• Automate manual processes using AI solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in relevant IT or security roles

• Extensive experience with Okta, SSO, and SCIM

• Skilled in endpoint configuration using Jamf

• Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Go, or Type Script

• Business-minded focus on enabling productivity
