Our client is searching for a contract Lead B/A to do the following. This is a one year role.

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Technical Business Systems Analyst to support a large-scale cloud transformation and Azure migration initiative. This role requires a hands‑on BSA who can bridge business and technology teams, drive requirements gathering, and translate complex technical needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with client stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to support migration planning, documentation, and execution across enterprise environments.

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate both functional and non‑functional requirements for cloud migration initiatives.
• Create and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
• Work closely with client teams, architects, developers, and project stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and aligned with project objectives.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement reviews, and approval sessions with business and technology teams.
• Support migration planning activities, including current‑state assessments, future‑state design, and gap analysis.
• Define and document Azure‑related non‑functional requirements including performance, scalability, security, availability, monitoring, recoverability, and operational support considerations.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with testing, validation, defect triage, and user acceptance activities as needed.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and gaps that may impact migration success.

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Systems Analyst on enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting both functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Hands‑on experience supporting cloud migration or modernization projects.
• Experience working on Microsoft Azure initiatives and documenting Azure‑related requirements.
• Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, APIs, and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to produce clear and detailed requirements artifacts.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

• Experience supporting large‑scale cloud transformation programs.
• Knowledge of Azure services, cloud architecture principles, and migration methodologies.
• Experience with in consulting, financial services, or large enterprise environments.
• Exposure to enterprise integration and data migration initiatives.

• A highly organized and detail‑oriented BSA who is comfortable operating in both business and technical discussions.
• Someone who can challenge assumptions, ask the right questions, and drive clarity across complex initiatives.
• A self‑starter who can work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• A strong communicator capable of influencing decisions and driving requirements to completion.
