What You Will Do
Manage relationships with market data vendors including Bloomberg, LSEG, MSCI, Fact Set, S&P, and Moody’s. Support contract negotiations, service reviews, and vendor performance management while ensuring alignment with global strategies and governance standards.
Oversee day-to-day market data administration activities, including onboarding/offboarding, entitlement management, invoice validation, inventory maintenance, and usage monitoring to ensure accurate controls and reporting.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders by providing mentorship on market data solutions, assessing business requirements, and supporting strategic initiatives with efficient and compliant data services.
Support budgeting and forecasting through market data usage and spend analysis. Produce reporting and dashboards while ensuring compliance with vendor licensing agreements, internal policies, and audit requirements.
Serve as the primary escalation point for market data service issues, coordinating with vendors and global teams to resolve incidents and drive ongoing process, governance, and cost‑efficiency improvements.
- University degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of market data experience within the financial services industry.
- Good understanding of market data products, including terminals, real‑time and reference data, indices, ratings, research platforms, licensing models, and governance practices.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and cost optimization capabilities.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Exposure to audit, risk, or regulatory environments.
Professional Certifications Preferred: FISD, IMC, or other relevant market data or financial services certifications.
Total RewardsBase Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus:
Total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from $68,000 to $90,000, based on experience and qualifications.
