Our client, a Top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a UX Content Writer - Marketing for an initial 6 Months contract with a high possibility of extension and conversion. This role is 2-3 days a week in the office in downtown Toronto.
Job responsibilities:
Content Writing & Copy Development
Craft high-impact UX content for mass marketing offer splash pages, ads, and emails.
Develop detailed copy decks for:
Homepage & product pages
Online Banking (OLB) spaces
Headless ad spaces in OLB
Mobile app & mobile web
Digital application pages
Net new splash pages
A/B test ads and splash pages
Personalized direct offers & Braze in-app messages
Email campaigns, Google paid search ads, mobile spotlight stories, carousels, TOO & MTO ads
Content Governance & Compliance
Ensure all content aligns with banks brand voice and follows the editorial style guide.
Document precise technical elements in copy decks for development and quality assurance teams.
Adhere to WCAG accessibility standards to ensure content is inclusive and compliant.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate regulatory content requirements.
Collaboration & Workflow Management
Work within an Agile pod and contribute to scrum/Kanban workflows.
Use JIRA & Confluence to track tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Provide content recommendations based on UX best practices and optimization strategies.
Participate in A/B testing and iterate content based on performance insights.
Must-Have
Skills:
3-5+ years of UX content writing experience focused on websites and email marketing (not blogs/social media).
Strong ability to document technical elements within a structured copy deck.
Proficiency in MS Office 365, JIRA, and Confluence .
Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
Basic understanding of SEO , legal review processes, Agile workflows, development, and QA processes.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Understanding of UX design principles for enhanced content usability.
Familiarity with Figma or similar graphic design tools.
