Advance your career as a Senior Data Engineer with DEPT® in Ontario, Canada. This role focuses on utilizing graph databases, Databricks, and PostgreSQL for technology benchmarks.
DEPT® seeks a Senior Data Engineer for a 3-month fixed-term contract. You'll transform and load data into various graph databases while managing relationships and entity linkages. With proficiency in PostgreSQL and Databricks, you'll evaluate real-world query performance and contribute to technical recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transform data from Databricks into graph databases
• Manage relationship structures within each database
• Implement benchmark queries across technologies
• Create APIs for query performance analysis
• Contribute to evaluations presented to leadership
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with Databricks
• Working familiarity with Neo4j and/or Tiger Graph
• Strong skills in recursive CTEs and materialized views
• Comfort with structured evaluation of database environments
• Experience designing technology benchmarks at enterprise scale
