SAP RISE Integration Consultant

Role Summary

Our Client is looking for an experienced SAP RISE Integration Consultant for a contract engagement. Start:
July 2026, Duration: 3 months, with potential extension.

Location:

Downtown Toronto. Work Arrangement: 4 days per week onsite (mandatory), 1 day remote. Expenses:
No travel expenses will be paid. Own the coordination of updates to initial solution design changes and technical leadership for data integration into SAP S/4

HANA + FPSL running on SAP RISE PCE, including batch + streaming patterns, secure file transfer/MFT, API strategy, eventing, data quality/reconciliation, and integration tooling, especially SAP BTP Integration Suite.

• Lead integration blueprint with SI and internal data teams for FPSL ingestion and ERP integration patterns.
• Design and lead data pipelines from on-prem/cloud finance platforms (e.g., Cloudera/Hadoop, data lake, etc.) to SAP (batch + streaming where required).
• Implement and guide BTP Integration Suite usage:
  Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, destinations, connectivity patterns.
• Define integration contracts: payload formats, schemas, scheduling, retries, idempotency, reconciliation, error handling.
• Support “data readiness” work: source system inventory, extraction strategy, transformation, encryption, and landing zone patterns up to the point SAP can consume (e.g., SFTP/HTTPS drop zones).
• Align to security and controls: TLS, PGP/file encryption (if required), key management, logging, lineage, retention, DLP expectations.
• Own operational aspects: monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and handoff to support teams.

• The resources must live in the GTA as a requirement to be on client site 4 days per week (downtown Toronto).
• 8–10 years minimum experience in SAP consulting projects in the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of SAP RISE platform integration activities including connectivity, firewall configurations and related integration tasks.
• Data integration engineering/architecture (batch + event/streaming).
• SAP integration patterns and SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI/Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh).
• Strong experience with modern data stack (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka/event streaming, data lake concepts, ETL/ELT).
• API fundamentals: REST/OData, OAuth2/JWT concepts, secure transfer patterns (SFTP/HTTPS, mTLS where applicable).
• Strong cross‑team delivery leadership with SI and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP FPSL (domain knowledge helps) – nice to have.
• Experience with financial data controls: reconciliation, auditability, lineage, regulatory constraints – nice to have.
• Must have work authorization for Canada.
