Senior Data Scientist

What you’ll do

• Provide analytical and technical support for executing targeted campaigns.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert in combining customer data sources, collaborating with customer‑insight teams, deploying data to execution platforms, and measuring lift in campaigns.
• Partner with business stakeholders to ingest and utilize new data sources as they become available.
• Provide ad hoc business reporting and analysis as requested.
• Work hand‑to‑hand with stakeholders to understand business problems and develop data‑driven solutions that add tangible value.
• Offer insights and analytics on customer segments that influence test designs and hypotheses.
• Measure post‑campaign performance, identify opportunities, and report statistical significance.
• Write efficient and accurate queries to integrate customer data from a variety of organizational systems.
• Ensure generated insights meet high standards of analytical and statistical rigor, highlighting gaps where necessary.
• Provide mentorship to team members on data, code, and best practices.
• Lead the creation of efficient, cost‑effective, high‑availability data pipelines.
• Provide ad‑hoc analytics and recommendations for action as needed.

• M.S. degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with data‑science disciplines, including hypothesis testing, statistical modeling, machine learning, recommendation systems, AI, deep learning, and related areas.
• In‑depth experience with Python and SQL.
• Proficiency with advanced tools such as Hadoop, Hive, and ETL tools, as well as relational and non‑relational modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and industry‑standard data‑warehousing technologies (Cloudera, Snowflake, etc.).
• Experience working with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
• Project management, mentorship, and leadership skills.
• Experience with data‑intelligence and visualization platforms such as Looker, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with MLOps practices (preferred).
