User Experience Designer
Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a highly skilled and passionate UX Designer who is a strong advocate for the customer. In this role, you will be dedicated to customer-centric innovation, taking pride in iterating until an experience is finely tuned. You are an excellent storyteller, comfortable presenting and discussing your work with clients and stakeholders, and someone who naturally puts the user at the center of everything you do.

This is a 6-month contract, which requires the talent to work onsite at our client's office in downtown Toronto 4 days per week.
Responsibilities- Experience Innovation: Transform complex problems into elegant, intuitive experiences through strategic ideation and concept development.
- Artifact Creation: Produce high-quality sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure design intent is fully realized and successfully achieved.
- User Advocacy: Champion the user's needs throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Research & Testing: Participate in observational studies, usability testing, and other customer research initiatives.
- Communication: Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design approaches/rationales to a diverse audience.
- Industry Alignment: Stay abreast of current design methodologies, practices, and evolving industry trends.
- Education & Experience: A degree in design or a design-related discipline (e.g., industrial design, user-centered design, design strategy, human-computer interaction, human factors) along with 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer.
- Design Tool Expertise: High proficiency and expertise with standard design tools, specifically Figma
, Axure, and Adobe Creative Suite. - Prototyping & Visualization: Strong prototyping skills across various mediums (sketch, paper, wireframe, interactive prototypes) and a strong capability in data visualization design to turn complex datasets into clear, meaningful visual stories.
- Dashboard Design: Proven experience designing personalized dashboards that adapt to user roles, behaviors, and preferences.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving

Excellent organization, logic, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to simplify complicated workflows and translate conceptual ideas into compelling experiences. - Communication & Feedback: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to ask insightful questions, present to diverse audiences, and constructively integrate feedback.
- Portfolio: A creative and visually compelling design portfolio demonstrating a keen eye for detail and meticulous execution.
- Experience with in the Financial Services (FI) or Business Banking industry.
- Expertise using AI-driven tools to generate or transform design assets.
