Team

Our team is responsible for the systems that support Global Finance. We support over 1000 users across the Finance teams in the bank.

Role

This role will support regulatory reporting automation and other initiatives that support the Finance and risk users. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders—including business partners in Global Finance and risk, business analysts, architecture, and infrastructure and support—to understand business requirements and design technical solutions that best meet business needs.

Key Accountabilities
  • Gather requirements, design and build new features
  • Collaborate with the product owner, project manager and other relevant teams
  • Ensure best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Excellent understanding of developer life cycle and enterprise developer tools
  • Develop RPDs and ETL for projects and support existing operations
Qualifications / What You Will Bring To Succeed
  • Proficient in developing strategies for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) mechanism
  • Expert in designing Parallel jobs using stages such as Join, Merge, Lookup, Remove duplicates, Filter, Dataset, Lookup file set, Complex flat file, Modify, Aggregator, XML
  • Expert in designing Server jobs using stages such as Sequential file, ODBC, Hashed file, Aggregator, Transformer, Sort, Link Partitioner and Link Collector
  • Experienced in integration of various data sources (DB2-UDB, SQL Server, PL/SQL, Oracle, Teradata, XML and MS-Access) into the data staging area
  • Expert in using Data Stage Manager, Designer, Administrator and Director
  • Experienced in analyzing business process data, defining granularity, source‑to‑target mapping, creating indexes, and designing data warehouse schema
  • Excellent knowledge of studying data dependencies using metadata stored in the repository and preparing batches for scheduling multiple sessions
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting Data Stage jobs and addressing production issues such as performance tuning and enhancement
  • Experienced in database programming for data warehouses (schemas) and proficient in dimensional modeling
  • Expertise in UNIX shell scripts using K-shell for automating processes and scheduling Data Stage jobs with wrappers
  • Experience with software configuration management tools such as Rational Clear Case/Clear Quest for version control
  • Experienced in data modeling, reverse engineering using tools such as Erwin, Oracle Designer, MS Visio, SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS and SSRS, and stored procedures
  • Experience with RPDs and tuning reports for better performance
  • Experience with OBIEE reports and BI Publisher
  • Good to have Azure Power BI experience/knowledge
