The Network Engineer III will plan and implement network augments while managing multiple projects. Candidates should have Government of Canada Security Clearance, extensive knowledge in IP routing and switching, and a solid grasp of troubleshooting router connectivity. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations and delivering innovative solutions within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify backbone congestion and facilitate IP trunk installations
• Engineer and document capacity details, including router ports and cross-connects
• Update project status in Salesforce regularly
• Configure and ship required project equipment
• Work with teams to activate and verify deployed equipment
Requirements:
• Government of Canada Security Clearance
• 5+ years in telecommunications and data networking
• Proficient in Cisco and Junos
• Experience troubleshooting in complex routed environments
• Relevant certifications like CCNA or CCNP preferred
