Position: Celestica Linux Desktop Systems Engineer
Join Celestica as a Linux Desktop Systems Engineer, leading the design and continuous support of advanced Linux workstations. Ensure compliance and efficiency using HCL Big Fix for endpoint management.

Supporting the HPS engineering group, you will manage approximately 50 HP ZBook Mobile Workstations preinstalled with Ubuntu.

Your role will focus on deploying secure software packages, executing patch management, and optimizing tool chains for agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and optimize the HP ZBook workstation baseline

• Develop automated installation packages using Big Fix

• Administer security software like Crowd Strike Falcon

• Customize application controls for engineering work spaces

• Conduct regular patching and vulnerability remediation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• Minimum 3 years in specialized engineering IT roles

• Advanced administration of Ubuntu Linux environments

• Expertise in HCL Big Fix and endpoint security management

• Scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation tasks
