Position: IT Risk Senior Manager at Scotiabank
Lead the Cyber & IT Risk Management team at Scotiabank as a Senior Manager in Toronto, Ontario. Drive risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance across the organization.

This pivotal role involves spearheading risk assurance and oversight within Cyber and IT Risk Management. You will collaborate with various business units to assess and mitigate vulnerabilities, contributing heavily to the development of risk management policies. Your expertise will help foster a robust risk culture while working to meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments across diverse systems

• Manage RCSA program planning and resource allocation

• Challenge inherent risks and control effectiveness objectively

• Document IT risks and manage tracking systems effectively

• Prepare reports tracking IT risk trends and control effectiveness

Requirements:

• 5+ years in IT Risk Management or IT Audit

• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education preferred

• 1+ year in RCSAs within 1st or 2nd Line of Defense

• Knowledgeable in OSFI, NIST, COBIT regulatory frameworks

• Proficient in data security, risk controls, and analytics
