Role OverviewTD's Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence (AI2) team provides consultative support with data & analytics‑based business insights and/or solutions to guide decision making and/or strategic planning. AI2 is an exciting team to be a part of as we are transforming how we provide key insights and opportunities for our business partners to better serve our customers.
The Wealth AI2 team is looking for top analytics talent to tackle data analysis challenges in the real world. The analytics services we deliver provides Wealth business stakeholders analytics and actionable insights to help drive meaningful business decisions and results.
Accountabilities Include- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of analytics and data science initiatives, from problem framing through execution, to produce timely, accurate, and business‑ready insights.
- Analyze complex business problems and large data sets to identify use cases, value drivers, and opportunities for growth, efficiency, and optimisation.
- Translate business needs into analytics, reporting, and data science solutions in partnership with stakeholders, analytics teams, and the AI/ML pod.
- Develop and present clear, executive‑ready insights, recommendations, and visualisations to support stakeholder alignment and decision‑making.
- Establish and improve analytics frameworks, standards, and best practices while ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.
- Leverage statistical methods, machine learning techniques, Gen AI/Agentic AI, and test‑and‑learn techniques to design, evaluate, and scale data‑driven solutions.
- Act as a domain subject matter expert and trusted analytics advisor, providing thought leadership, guidance, and mentorship to partners and team members.
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative, technical, or business‑related discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Banking/Finance domain knowledge is considered an asset.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in PySpark and SQL to manipulate large data sets, develop analytical data assets, and support scalable analytics and insights generation.
- Experience designing and building Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations that translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Ability to understand, reframe, and assess business problems, translate business requirements into technical requirements, and evaluate feasibility of business asks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage first‑level stakeholder relationships, align expectations, prioritise work, and remain self‑organised and self‑sufficient in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to support POD AEL backup responsibilities as needed;
Wealth Advice domain knowledge is considered an asset but is not required. - Strong PowerPoint and presentation delivery skills, with the ability to create executive‑ready materials and communicate findings clearly to business stakeholders.
