• Maintain and protect the database environment: configure, install, and maintain database management systems to ensure peak performance.
• Set and enforce security protocols: manage user access and implement policies to protect data from unauthorized access and external threats.
• Strategize for scalability: conduct capacity planning and growth projections to keep the system scalable to meet business needs.
• Coordinate database projects: collaborate with teams to develop and align systematic project plans, and propose enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
• Recover and resolve: develop robust backup and recovery plans; provide technical support to end users and application developers for complex database issues.

• Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management
• VMware ESXi experience
• Public/private cloud management, including migration from on‑prem to cloud
• On‑prem AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and/or Azure AD

• Automation experience, especially IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
• Vulnerability management

Target compensation range: $79,580 – $129,580, varying by location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. The range represents Kyndryl’s pay for this role at the time of posting.
