Elevate your career as a Detection Engineer with Insight Global, focusing on context-driven security measures in a dynamic SOC environment. You'll engage in 2-week sprints to build critical alerts and enhance detection strategies.
As a Detection Security Consultant, you’ll bring 5–15 years of Information Security experience, specifically with large-scale enterprises. Your work includes managing detection alerts and tuning policies for Microsoft Sentinel, along with contributions using detection-as-code frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills and communication are key to thriving in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and tune security alerts in the SOC
• Analyze trending data and respond to feedback
• Oversee policies for Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM)
• Create detection content across SIEM platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for a secure environment
Requirements:
• 5-15+ years in Information Security
• 4+ years focusing on Detection Engineering
• Experience managing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Proficient in Linux Redhat and Windows Server security
• Background with a large Canadian Bank
