IT Desktop Support Associate

Join SMBC and support our IT infrastructure as a Desktop Support Associate. Handle user-level IT issues while managing system installations and ensuring data security across devices.
In this role, you'll focus on troubleshooting technical problems faced by users and maintaining robust IT support. From onboarding new employees to assisting with technology recovery, your efforts ensure that the IT environment operates smoothly. You'll also document issues and manage system assets while performing administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide user assistance for hardware and network issues
• Diagnose problems with laptops, desktops, and printers
• Setup and configure operating systems and software
• Conduct routine maintenance and vulnerability updates
• Document solutions and manage asset inventories
Requirements:
• IT degree or relevant field of study
• At least 5 years in Desktop Support or Systems Administration
• Familiarity with Microsoft systems and server administration
• Strong interpersonal skills for assisting non-technical staff
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple requests
