IT Security Analyst

Role Overview

CAE’s Technology & Product Development team seeks a SOC Analyst (CSIRT) to monitor, detect, and respond to security events, protecting the company's digital assets.

• Monitor and analyze security events from multiple sources.
• Detect, analyze and triage incidents.
• Document investigations and maintain records.
• Support incident response activities.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings.
• Stay up to date on cybersecurity threats and trends.
• Maintain and improve SOC processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
• Relevant certifications may substitute education.
• Knowledge of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, firewalls).

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and operating systems.
• Understanding of common attack techniques.
• Experience in cybersecurity is an asset.
• Basic French language skills considered an asset.

Base pay range: CAD 91,000 - CAD 136,400, with total rewards including benefits and variable pay based on experience, skill, location, and internal equity.
