Position: Senior Cyber Security Role
Empower OPTrust’s cybersecurity strategy as a Senior Information Security Advisor, focusing on information security and incident response within a hybrid model.

This permanent position in Toronto seeks a professional with a minimum of 8 years in Security or IT Audit. You will oversee monitoring, analyzing attacks, and enhancing security postures. Leadership in vulnerability management and cybersecurity governance will ensure robust security practices in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security attacks and lead incident response

• Provide guidance for cybersecurity posture enhancements

• Develop and maintain the corporate awareness program

• Monitor effectiveness of security policies and controls

• Conduct threat risk assessments and testing

Requirements:

• 8+ years in Security or IT Audit with leadership experience

• Relevant certifications: CISM, CISSP, CISA or similar

• Strong grasp of NIST cybersecurity frameworks

• Proficient in penetration testing and SIEM tools

• Excellent communications and critical-thinking abilities
