WebSphere Server Administrator

Position: WebSphere Application Server Administrator Role
Join RBC as a Web Sphere Application Server Administrator and help create robust hosting environments for essential banking applications. This role emphasizes secure and efficient operation.

As part of RBC's Middleware Technical and Runtime Support team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the infrastructure that supports thousands of applications across the bank. You will bring your extensive knowledge in IBM Web Sphere to design, automate, and secure the hosting environments. Collaboration and continuous improvement will be central to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, configure, and manage Web Sphere environments

• Design secure and compliant hosting configurations

• Troubleshoot platform issues with advanced skills

• Document configurations and solutions for team reference

• Automate management tasks using Jython and Ansible

Requirements:

• 5–8 years' experience with Web Sphere administration

• Solid understanding of Network Deployment architecture

• Expertise in TLS/SSL management and patching

• Proficiency in scripting with Jython and shell

• Strong capabilities in technical documentation
