IT Support Specialist

Position: IT Support Specialist at Cineplex
Join Cineplex as an IT Support Specialist, focused on Level 1 helpdesk assistance and system monitoring. This role requires availability for shifts throughout the week, including holidays.

As an IT Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be providing first-level support across Cineplex’s diverse systems. You will manage incidents through a Helpdesk application, ensuring timely resolutions while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Your expertise will also contribute to documentation for the company’s knowledgebase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with hardware and software issues for Cineplex LOB’s

• Prioritize and resolve incidents through a Helpdesk application

• Proactively support Cineplex Systems Infrastructure

• Document solutions for the knowledgebase

• Engage in departmental projects and improvements

Requirements:

• Degree in a related field with operational experience

• Experience in retail POS systems preferred

• 1-3 years of Help Desk experience

• Proficiency in Windows, Mac OS, and Ubuntu

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
