Overview

This role functions within B2B Banking & Credit Technology Team. Within this group all Loan Servicing applications like LoanIQ, ABL (Asset Based Lending), Datascan (Dealer Floorplan), BUILT (Commercial Real Estate), leasepak (Equipment Finance) and Electronic Content management (ECM
- Opentext apps). This team manages projects in IT SDLC and project types are Refresh (hardware/Software), Regulatory and Discretionary projects using various industry standard tools, technologies & software. This role is for Electronic Content Management Team and person who has very deep expertise in it. Industry standard tools are Open text: ECM, IBM Filenet, Onbase etc. Open to consider candidates who have experience on other Electronic document management Technologies/tools.

Responsibilities
  • Builds dynamic, visually-attractive, and innovative software product/apps including front-end and back-end components.
  • Manages the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
  • Maintains and upgrades the software following deployment.
  • Manages the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications.
  • Oversees and guides the analysis, writing, building, and deployment of software.
  • Oversees automated testing and provides insights on results.
  • Modifies and tests changes to previously developed programs.
  • Fosters a culture aligned to BMO purpose, values and strategy and role models BMO values and behaviours in all that they do.
  • Ensures alignment between values and behaviour that fosters diversity and inclusion.

  • Emerging Tech:
    Prompting skills, Working experience with various LLMs (Claude, Bedrock etc), RAG, MCP, MS Copilot Studio, MS Fusion Fabric etc.
  • Dev Ops Pipeline tools.
  • Front-end languages and framework.
  • Backend Technologies and Frameworks.
