Hybrid Platform Engineer

Join the Open Shift Platform Engineering team as a Platform Engineer with a hybrid model in Toronto. You’ll upgrade Open Shift environments and support clients in a bare-metal setup.

This role requires over six years of experience in software infrastructure, primarily focusing on Red Hat Open Shift. You’ll participate in crucial activities such as architecture design, system administration, and performance tuning. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the team on daily tasks and project kickoffs to ensure client objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Upgrade Open Shift environments and systems continuously

• Share knowledge on Open Shift configuration and optimization

• Conduct system administration tasks for Open Shift

• Develop dashboards for visualizing project success metrics

• Assist during escalated support activities for Open Shift issues

Requirements:

• 6+ years in platform engineering

• Proficient in Ansible automation writing playbooks

• Experience with on-prem Open Shift implementations

• Knowledge of IBM Cloud Paks

• Familiarity with Dev Ops tools like Jenkins
