Job Description Department OverviewThis role is part of the EGRC Data & Reporting team. This person will be responsible for executing and supporting the Non‑Financial Risk Data & Reporting strategy. They will manage assigned technical data reporting initiatives with multiple stakeholders and implement best practices for efficient solutions, documentation, and overall technical functioning of processes.
Responsibilities- Apply business knowledge to produce relevant analysis and materials supporting business goals.
- Develop analysis, visualizations, and presentations to illustrate business trends and identify opportunities.
- Produce insights and recommend actions supporting strategy or solving problems.
- Partner with functional areas to deliver day‑to‑day analytics support.
- Execute data requests accurately and on time.
- Act as a bridge translating business requirements into analytics and reporting needs.
- Identify business opportunities for growth, efficiency, and revenue.
- Investigate data and analytics issues; validate accuracy and minimize errors.
- Support internal growth initiatives through research and presentations to management.
- Adhere to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and emerging trends.
- Lead small‑scale projects as a subject‑matter expert acting as a project lead.
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree (math, physics, engineering, finance, computer science) preferred; graduate degree preferable with progressive project experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience (higher degree or research tenure may be counted).
- Strong experience with Databricks (Delta tables, Spark), SQL, Python, Synapse, Git Hub for data pipelines and workflows.
- Knowledge of Azure ecosystem – technical, process, governance and controls.
- Experience developing and planning ETL data lineage and documentation.
- Familiarity with Big Data analytics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of data visualization/reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with GenAI, Copilot (Power BI, Git Hub) is a plus.
- Experience with TD’s Data Governance and Controls processes.
- Basic data engineering principles and best practices.
- Ability to create and interpret conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
