Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with your primary delivery team
• Building relationships with business leads and stakeholders
• Understanding user needs and data analysis
• Defining and designing user experience
• Researching and validating requirements with users and stakeholders
• Prototyping and testing solutions for iterative design
• Documenting reusable patterns leveraging design system
• Advocating for user-centered practice within the organization
• Communicating design vision with Product Managers and Technical Leads

• 5+ years of design experience as a key member of a product delivery team in a technology company
• Ability to articulate a clear rationale for all design decisions
• Strong stakeholder relationship management and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skill in triaging design demands
• Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively
• Awareness of accessibility, WCAG, AODA, AMA
• An online portfolio of previous and current professional work
• Exceptional skills with Figma and Miro or similar tools
• Investigation and workshopping skills to identify problems and solutions
• Familiarity with the investment or financial services industries is an asset
• Undergraduate degree in UX, Human Computer Interaction or Graphic/Digital Design is an asset
• Fluent communication in English is required, bilingual in French is an asset
