As part of the Business Intelligence team at ecobee, you will enhance the analytics infrastructure supporting a connected home. This Senior position involves owning data transformation processes while mentoring peers and establishing standards for data quality. Shape analytics practices that align with the company’s sustainability goals through effective collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enhance Silver and Gold lakehouse layers with dbt practices
• Collaborate on transformation workflows and data pipeline designs
• Implement governance frameworks for data accuracy and trust
• Maintain production reliability via strong monitoring systems
• Lead mentorship initiatives for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Extensive experience with dbt and data modeling techniques
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python scripting
• Familiarity with cloud environments like GCP and Big Query
• Proven background in data governance and quality assurance
• Understanding of CI/CD and modular development processes
