Product Designer

Responsibilities   Collaborating closely with your primary delivery team
Building relationships with business leads and stakeholders
Understanding user needs and data analysis
Defining and designing user experience
Researching and validating requirements with users and stakeholders
Prototyping and testing solutions for iterative design
Documenting reusable patterns leveraging design system
Advocating for user-centered practice within the organization
Communicating design vision with Product Managers and Technical Leads
Requirements   5+ years of design experience as a key member of a product delivery team in a technology company
Ability to articulate a clear rationale for all design decisions
Strong stakeholder relationship management and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skill in triaging design demands
Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively
Awareness of accessibility, WCAG, AODA, AMA
An online portfolio of previous and current professional work
Exceptional skills with Figma and Miro or similar tools
Investigation and workshopping skills to identify problems and solutions
Familiarity with the investment or financial services industries is an asset
Undergraduate degree in UX, Human Computer Interaction or Graphic/Digital Design is an asset
Fluent communication in English is required, bilingual in French is an asset
