Data Analyst SAS Programmer

Join OnX Canada as a Data Analyst (SAS Programmer) supporting a major Canadian Bank. Gain valuable experience in data analysis and reporting with a blend of SAS, SQL, and Python.

This 12-month contract role requires 1-2 days onsite in Toronto each week. You will leverage your banking sector experience to develop and maintain SAS and SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Engage in collaborative projects to enhance data accuracy and integrity while generating insightful reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis to support decision-making processes

• Develop SAS and SQL scripts for data management

• Automate report generation using SAS, SQL, and Power BI

• Collaborate with team to understand data requirements

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security

Requirements:

• 5+ years of SAS and SQL experience

• Proven banking industry experience

• Strong proficiency in Python and Power BI

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
