In this role, you’ll manage and administer the backbone of our technological infrastructure. You'll be the architect of the system, shaping the base definition, structure, and documentation to ensure the long‑term success of our business operations.

Maintain and Protect:

• Optimize systems:
  Your expertise will be crucial in configuring, installing and maintaining database management systems, ensuring that our systems are always running at peak performance.
• Set security protocols:
  You'll be responsible for managing user access and implementing policies and procedures to protect our valuable data from unauthorized access and external threats.

Strategize to Scale:

• Plan ahead:
  You will conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on usage, ensuring that our system is always scalable to meet our business needs.
• Make progress:
  You'll be a strategic partner, working closely with various teams to coordinate systematic database project plans that align with our organizational goals.
• Generate ideas:
  You'll have the opportunity to propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system, enabling us to deliver world‑class services to our customers.

Recover and Resolve:

• Be ready to recover:
  Develop strong backup and recovery plans to ensure that our system is always protected in the event of a failure.
• Support solutions:
  Use your technical acumen to support end users and application developers in solving complex problems related to our database systems.

Required skills and experience

• Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management
• VMware ESXi experience
• Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on‑prem to cloud

Preferred skills and experience

• Automation experience, especially IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
• Vulnerability management
• On prem AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) with Microsoft Active Directory (AD), and/or Azure AD

Salary: $79,580 - $129,580

The above represents Kyndryl’s pay range for this role.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. The range provided reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Kyndryl’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
