The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Toronto Area and possess extensive experience in cloud-based data engineering, particularly with Snowflake and Python. As a key player in developing the data platform, you’ll work alongside senior analysts and Rev Ops to ensure data integrity and performance while designing effective schemas and pipelines for actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Snowflake platform engineering and cost governance
• Design production-grade ELT pipelines from various sources
• Build AI-enhanced data foundations suitable for operational use
• Enforce data quality checks and maintain documentation
• Collaborate with teams to address data needs and challenges
Requirements:
• Over 4 years of hands-on data engineering experience
• Proficient in Snowflake, Python, and AWS
• Advanced SQL for complex data manipulations
• Understanding of data governance principles
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau
