ETL QA

Iris client, one of their Banking client is looking to hire ETL QA for Toronto, ON (3 days/hybrid).

ETL, Data Warehousing Testing, Database Testing, SQL (Need strong experience with SQL, Complex SQL Queries)

• Perform end-to-end ETL testing including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Validate data in data warehouses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for ETL workflows.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate large datasets across multiple sources.
• Perform data reconciliation between source systems and target databases.
• Validate data transformations, mappings, and business rules within ETL processes.
• Conduct regression, integration, and system testing for data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality standards.

• Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregations, performance tuning).
• Good understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema).
• Familiarity with data validation techniques and data quality frameworks.
• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, etc.).
