Our public sector client is seeking a Technical and Design Lead / Web Developer (10+ years) to lead and manage application and website development for investor education properties

Join a team enhancing large-scale investor education platforms within a public sector environment. This position leads technical development and design for web applications supporting investor engagement, including the website and related digital properties. The role offers ownership over end-to-end technical delivery, maintenance, and security improvement initiatives, working closely with cross-functional content, design, and outreach teams.

Must Haves

5+ years in Web Development and Web Design using PHP
, Java Script ,
HTML5
, CSS3
, and SCSS

Advanced skills in Word Press with plugin management and configuration experience

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
, UX/UI
, and Technical SEO for responsive web properties

Demonstrated experience with WCAG Accessibility compliance and cross-browser testing across PC and MAC environments

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, or equivalent

Nice to Have

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Bit Bucket

Experience with mobile web development standards and hosting

Knowledge of Trello, Atlassian, and emerging Artificial Intelligence tools

Interest in investor education, financial literacy, and protection initiatives

Responsibilities

Lead technical and design execution for investor education web properties

Manage layout, user interface, and performance improvements using established web standards

Conduct testing across browsers and environments to identify and resolve technical issues

Maintain detailed technical documentation including code review, tool inventory, and security patch tracking

Implement and monitor security enhancements addressing alerts and vulnerabilities

Oversee platform scalability, updates, and new feature integration in partnership with vendors

Collaborate with content, design, and outreach teams on multimedia and signature animation elements

Liaise with Information Services and Security branches to ensure compliance with organizational policies

Coordinate contingency plans, server transitions, and technical specifications alignment with vendors
