Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer (7+ years) to lead Dev Ops migration and deployment across Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Enterprise

Join a global asset management technology team driving large-scale initiatives to modernize Dev Ops infrastructure. This role leads the Azure Dev Ops to Git Hub Enterprise migration and delivers new features enhancing deployment automation, cloud governance, and operational readiness. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining enterprise Dev Ops standards supporting data and application platforms across Azure. This short-term engagement is critical to enabling future scalability and platform evolution for institutional execution systems.

Must Haves

Strong hands-on experience in Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Enterprise

Proven ability to design and support CI/CD pipelines

Experience defining reusable deployment templates and Dev Ops standards

Hands-on experience with ARM templates
, Power Shell
, Azure CLI
, or Databricks CLI automation tools

Nice to Have

Strong understanding of source control strategies, pull request workflows, and release governance

Experience leading or supporting migration from ADO to GHE

Experience deploying Databricks workloads

Prior experience within a major Canadian financial institution

Change management experience

Responsibilities

Lead migration activities from Azure Dev Ops to Git Hub Enterprise

Define and standardize CI/CD pipeline architecture across enterprise environments

Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes

Deliver Azure-based solutions for web, data integration, and analytics workloads

Integrate security, networking, and compliance within Dev Ops pipeline standards

Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness frameworks
