Our client, a leading organization within the retail and consumer analytics space, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a forward-thinking and highly collaborative analytics team. In this role, you will help shape a seamless, data-driven customer experience by building the infrastructure that powers insight across the business.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll design and build scalable data pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives

You’ll develop and optimize tables, views, and ETL processes for high-performance data access

You’ll ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across large and complex datasets

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

You’ll deliver actionable insights and support both ongoing and ad hoc analytical requests

Skills and Qualifications

3-5 years of progressive experience in data engineering or a related field

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and working with large-scale datasets

Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud environments

Proven ability to build and optimize ETL pipelines and complex queries

Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
