Position: Systems Engineer for Hybrid Infrastructure
Join TMX as a Systems Engineer in Toronto, managing patch processes across diverse platforms in a hybrid work model. Drive vulnerability management and optimize operational efficiency.

In this 12-month contract, you'll architect and execute enterprise-wide software updates while ensuring compliance with service-level agreements. With over five years of experience in systems administration and a strong grasp of patch management tools, you’ll lead validation protocols and enhance infrastructure resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively assess system vulnerabilities and security threats

• Orchestrate OS and application-level patching across environments

• Lead pre-deployment validation in staging environments

• Architect automated deployment frameworks using Infrastructure as Code

• Synthesize technical data for IT leadership and security partners

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in computer science/engineering

• 5+ years in system administration with patching tools expertise

• Strong knowledge in Windows, Linux, and VMware systems

• Proven IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible

• Exceptional communication skills for technical governance
