Senior Project Coordinator​/Scrum Master driving Agile delivery and ensuring strong project governance

Purpose of the Role:

This contract role is a hybrid Project Coordinator / Scrum Master responsible for driving Agile delivery and ensuring strong project governance.

The role leads Agile ceremonies, manages Azure Dev Ops backlog and workflow, and provides end-to-end coordination, tracking, and reporting of project deliverables.

Experience/

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field

5–8+ years of progressive experience in Scrum Master, Project Coordination, or Project Management roles

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or PMI-ACP preferred (desired or working towards)

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) including backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting

Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban), SDLC, and Dev Ops practices

Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Ms Teams)

Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment

Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership

Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming

Act as Scrum Master across two concurrent project teams

Remove impediments and escalate risks

Ensure adherence to Agile principles and team velocity optimization

Azure Dev Ops (ADO) Management

Manage and maintain backlog and sprint boards in ADO

Ensure stories are prioritized, estimated, and properly tracked

Monitor metrics such as velocity, burndown, and cycle time

Proactively identify bottlenecks (e.g., blocked work, resource gaps)

Coordinate across business and technical teams

Project Coordination & Governance

Track schedules, milestones, and deliverables

Maintain RAID logs and project documentation

Ensure documentation standards and version control

Provide regular status reporting to leadership and PMO

Facilitate meetings, workshops, and planning sessions (as required)

Risk & Performance Management

Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies

Track delivery performance and ensure quality outcomes

Continuous Improvement

Drive Kaizen initiatives and promote Yokoten best practices

Improve team efficiency and Agile maturity
