Senior Lead DevOps Engineer

The Senior Lead Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for driving the design, implementation, and optimization of Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. This role leads a team of engineers to enable faster, reliable, and secure software delivery while fostering a culture of automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across development and operations teams.

• Define and lead the Dev Ops strategy, roadmap, and best practices across the organization
• Mentor and manage a team of Dev Ops engineers, promoting technical excellence and innovation
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, security, and product teams to streamline delivery processes
• Champion a Dev Ops culture emphasizing automation, scalability, and reliability

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve speed and consistency
• Integrate security practices into pipelines (
  Dev Sec Ops )
• Standardize deployment strategies (blue-green, canary releases, rolling deployments)

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization

• Lead adoption of containerization technologies (Docker)
• Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes or equivalent)
• Ensure efficient deployment, scaling, and monitoring of microservices

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, Cloud Watch)
• Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis
• Continuously improve system performance and reliability

• Implement secure Dev Ops practices, including secrets management and access control
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and integrate security scanning tools

• 10+ years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev Ops, AWS CDK, etc.)
• Expertise in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure)
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience leading Dev Ops transformation in large enterprises
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API management
• Familiarity with security frameworks and Dev Sec Ops  practices
• Certifications such as:
  • AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert
