Position: SQL Database Engineer with Azure and PowerShell
Take on a pivotal role as a SQL Database Engineer specializing in Power Shell and Azure with a leading financial client. Drive database automation, deployment, and support for mission-critical applications across cloud and on-premises platforms.
In this position, you will expertly design and manage complex Microsoft SQL Server environments, implement high-availability solutions, and deploy Microsoft Azure services. The successful candidate will automate tasks using Power Shell and develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.

Your role will ensure the resilience and security of vital enterprise database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Microsoft SQL Server in various environments

• Perform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning of SQL instances

• Implement SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and Failover Clustering

• Deploy Microsoft Azure services including VMs and Storage

• Manage Windows Server environments using Power Shell scripting
Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server installation and administration

• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure

• Proficient in Dev Ops practices and automation

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployment

• Solid troubleshooting skills for SQL Server and networking
