Manager, Cyber Cloud Security and AI

At PwC, our cybersecurity team protects organisations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. In this role, you will provide comprehensive security solutions across multiple domains, focusing on AI security and data protection.

• Project management and delivery of client engagements from assessment/strategy through to design, implementation and optimisation of AI security governance, processes, and technology.
• Engagement management, including planning, budget, resource allocation and completion of work streams.
• Business development: lead generation, opportunity tracking, pre‑sales presentations, technical demos, client & engagement risk assessments, bid management, proposal writing and contract management.
• Collaborate with other cybersecurity & privacy teams on non‑AI security projects.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy with a focus on AI security and data protection.
• Integrate security practices into AI models and data usage across the organisation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI security; contribute to thought‑leadership and innovation.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in AI systems and data‑management practices; design mitigation plans.
• Establish policies and standards for AI security and data operations, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894 and other relevant regulations.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering continuous improvement.
• Monitor emerging AI threats; provide guidance on incident response and remediation.
• Engage with senior leadership, clients and partners to understand AI security concerns and present findings, strategies and recommendations.

• Experience in cybersecurity, data science, AI or related disciplines (e.g., technology risk).
• AI expertise: familiarity with tools, frameworks and programming languages such as Python, R, Tensor Flow, PyTorch.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards—NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894, GDPR, CCPA.
• Relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science or related field).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Proven ability to prepare and present security assessment reports, proposals, and recommendations.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, interpersonal skills and a growth mindset.
• Ability to handle high‑pressure situations and manage stakeholders.

Salary range: $116,100–$166,100 (base salary determined by skills, experience and location). Eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programmes and other benefits.

This position is part of PwC Canadian operations and will support clients across Canada. Basic relocation allowances and benefits are available as standard for PwC employees.
