Hybrid Senior Security Specialist

Procom is seeking a Senior Security Specialist for a hybrid contract role based in Toronto, Ontario. Lead initiatives in Security Governance and Cyber Defense Operations to ensure compliance and risk management.
This position, requiring 8+ years of experience, involves developing security policies, frameworks, and contributing to a cybersecurity strategy. You will conduct security assessments and assist in implementing governance tools while authoring reports for stakeholders. This hands-on role offers a dynamic blend of strategic leadership and technical analysis in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop security policies, standards, and procedures

• Lead the creation of security frameworks and models

• Support the implementation of an enterprise GRC tool

• Conduct security assessments using NIST CSF methodologies

• Review Threat Risk Assessment and penetration test reports
Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience with IPC and OAGO audits

• 5+ years in conducting Threat and Risk Assessments

• Knowledge of information security governance and compliance

• Skilled in authoring executive reports and stakeholder communications

• Experience with risk management methodologies like NIST CSF
