SAP Analyst - FI/CO & SD
Overview
The SAP Analyst - FI/CO & SD is an internal IT resource responsible for supporting, stabilizing, and improving SAP S/4
HANA business processes within assigned functional areas. The role provides functional support across Finance and Controlling (FI/CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Logistics Execution (LE), and related integration points as assigned. The incumbent works closely with business process owners, department SMEs, IT technical resources, vendors, and external support partners to resolve issues, support testing and change activities, maintain functional documentation, and help ensure SAP processes operate reliably after go-live.
This role is suited for individuals who can assess complex business processes, analyze requirements, and communicate technical and business concepts clearly to stakeholders to support business objectives.
- Operational Support, SAP Functional Support and Stabilization, Assigned Module Support and Integration, Configuration, Testing, Documentation, and Enhancements
- Customer Service and Business Partnership
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Quality, Engineering, Data, etc.)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of SAP functional experience, preferably including SAP S/4
HANA implementation, post-go-live support, or manufacturing support experience - Experience in one or more SAP functional areas such as FI/CO, SD, LE; additional areas (nice to have) MM, PP, EWM, or related integration areas
- Functional knowledge of business processes such as Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, logistics execution, manufacturing cost flow, billing, financial closing, or related processes
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, document, and resolve SAP functional issues while coordinating with technical teams and business users
- Experience with incident management, change management, testing, and documentation practices. Experience with Service Now, SAP Solution Manager, or similar tools is an asset
- Demonstrated customer service skills and communication abilities, including the ability to explain SAP functionality and business process impacts to non-technical users
