Data Engineer - AML​/Regulatory

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Data Engineer - AML/Regulatory who will perform data analysis using SQL, propose data quality rules. The successful candidate is a self-starter who is able to explore data, write accurate SQL code, and create a data lineage document.

• Ensure data is maintained in compliance with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Support the QA team with data analysis/investigations of complex issues/test cases as part of SIT/UAT/PAT testing.
• Provide oversight on post-implementation activities.
• Execute code check-in/check-out into the source code repository as part of source code management.
• Work closely with the technology team to support code packaging & deployment into higher environments.

• 7 years of Business Mindset with experience in creating requirements for the technology team
• 7 years of expertise in Data Analytics
• 7 years of experience in Data Exploration and wrangling
• 7 years of experience in Data quality rules design
• 7 years of familiarity with various databases – Oracle and SQL Server
• Out-of-box thinking
• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Experience working in the Banking domain
• Expertise in AML
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL
• Exposure to Regulatory Projects
