In this role at Intact, you will lead a dedicated team of database professionals while ensuring operational excellence across database services. Your expertise will drive strategic initiatives, manage budgets, and work closely with engineering teams to modernize and migrate database systems to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and inspire a team of database administrators
• Manage database performance, stability, and availability
• Direct incident, problem, and change management
• Establish best practices for monitoring and recovery
• Contribute to cloud transformation and modernization efforts
Requirements:
• 8+ years in IT within Oracle and Mongo environments
• 5+ years of database team management
• 3+ years experience with cloud transformations
• Knowledge of governance and ITIL practices
• Bilingualism is needed for Quebec applicants
