Position: Lead Digital Product Designer at RBC

As a prominent leader in the Design System team at RBC, you’ll direct efforts to ensure effective product design and team operations. In this Full-time role, you will empower a high-performing design team to work efficiently, using Agile methodologies while collaborating across functional areas. Key areas of focus include coaching team members, managing day-to-day tasks, and facilitating interactions with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for a mobile product design system

• Validate design hypotheses through iterative releases

• Promote a test-and-learn approach for product refinement

• Facilitate workshops and demos with stakeholders

• Empower team members by removing obstacles

Requirements:

• 10+ years in design with 3-5 years leading teams

• Experience with design systems and engineering collaboration

• Proficiency in Figma and front-end technologies

• Strong project management capabilities

• Demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
