Technical Director of Products & Innovation

Join Fidelity Canada as a Technical Director driving innovation and technical excellence within the organization. This hybrid position in Toronto will transition to Mississauga, focusing on managing technical delivery.

As the Technical Director, you will oversee the technical landscape of the Products and Innovation business, guiding strategic direction and execution. Your responsibilities include partnering with business leaders, managing relationships with technology vendors, and ensuring that technological capabilities increase service quality. You will educate team members on new technologies and align them with business goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain industry relationships and advocate for efficiency improvements

• Engage in strategic planning for technology initiatives

• Work with IS departments to define business solutions

• Provide education on emerging technologies to internal teams

• Ensure compliance with KPI standards for application services

Requirements:

• Completed University Degree or relevant work experience

• 7+ years in technical architecture and delivery

• 5+ years in Financial Industry management

• Proven track record in technology solutions for financial services

• Strong background in aligning tech strategies with business needs
